What's new with us!

Based on the wildly popular series of books by Stepanie Meyer, we are prepping for "Twlight" with Ander Weder heading up the special effects.

Allen Hall is headed to Boston for the new Jonathon Moscow project "Surrogates".

Talented Special Effects Coordinator John Cazin has brought many exciting television projects to Special Effects Unlimited including, Justice, Ugly Betty, Sleeper Cell, Medium, Boston Legal and The Closer.  

Our owner and Academy Award winner, Allen Hall has completed coordinating the effects on Pirates of the Caribbean II & III , I Now Pronounce you Chuck and Larry and is now working on "The Eye".

Special Effects Unlimited now carries One-time use Confetti launchers and a whole line of confetti.  Please see our confetti page for details.

12/2004   Bewitched 

Our Associate Special Effects Coordinator Mike Meinardus  has just started this remake of the classic starring Nicole Kidman.  Mike has just completed Lady Luck.

12/2004    Charlotte's Web 

Our Associate Special Effects Coordinator Clay Penny  has just left for Australia to coordinate this children's classic.  Clay has just completed Flight Plan starring Jodie Foster.  

12/2004   The Cutter 

Our Associate Special Effects Coordinator Giuliano Fumani has just headed off to Washington to head up this Chuck Norris thriller. 

11/2004   Desperation  

Our Associate Special Effects Coordinator Lou Carlucci has just been green lit on this screen adaptation of the Steven King novel.

10/2004   Zorro II

Our Associate Special Effects Coordinator Bruce Steinheimer  is currently in Mexico City working on this sequel to the Legend of Zorro.  Bruce recently completed the critically acclaimed  movie The Aviator.  

3/2004  Constantine  

Our CEO Allen Hall has just completed Constantine starring the ever popular Keanu Reeves. This looks like another blockbuster.

 12/2004  Lady Luck 

Our Associate Special Effects Coordinator Mike Meinardus has just landed Lady Luck.  We would also like to congratulate Mike for Mr. & Mrs. Smith  which he recently completed.

  12/2004  Dukes of Hazard 

Our Associate Special Effects Coordinator Burt Dalton has just been given the green light on this motion picture based upon the TV series currently filming in Louisiana. 

 12/2004   The Shaggy Dog 

Our Special Effects coordinator John Baker is currently coordinating this motion picture starring Tim Allen being shot in Los Angeles. 

2004  -  Detroit AUTO SHOW 

Special Effects Unlimited has just completed a major project for Mitsubishi and Martin Brinkerhoff and Associates to create gimbals to rotate and rotisserie the New Mitsubishi Endeavor SUV.   The Gimbals and car appeared on web sites and news programs and was the hit of the auto show.  

 

2004  -  Ford Commercial  

Special Effects Unlimited recently completed the Ford commercial for the new Ford F150 that was featured during the Super Bowl.  Our very own Pam Elliott Coordinated that major project that shot in three states. Pam's 10 years experience in this area were more than put to the test to complete this rather complex commercial.
